BC Synod - ELCIC: Roster Changes

January 26, 2010	We congratulate the Rev. Lyle McKenzie on his appointment to the position of Assistant to the National Bishop for Worship. Rev. McKenzie assumes this role in a part-time capacity while maintaining his current call as pastor at Lutheran Church of the Cross, Victoria, BC. Within the Worship portfolio, Rev. McKenzie will have responsibilities related to the Program Committee for Worship, the National Worship Conference, and Worship at National Convention along with liaison responsibilities with worship expressions of the ELCA, ACC, and Augsburg Fortress. Rev. McKenzie began his new responsibilities January 15, 2010.
December 9, 2009	The congregations of Christ, Vancouver and Augustana, Vancouver have undertaken the final steps of merging together and are now proud to announce that they will be worshiping together under the newly named Spirit of Life Lutheran Church, Vancouver.
September 27, 2009	Vida Jaugelis has accepted a call to Oakridge Lutheran Church in Vancouver. She was ordained and installed on September 27, 2009.
September 19, 2009	Thomas Keeley was installed at Dunbar Lutheran Church in Vancouver.
June 28, 2009	Thomas Keeley has accepted a call to Dunbar Lutheran Church in Vancouver. He was ordained on the 28th of June and will start at Dunbar on August 1, 2009.
May 5, 2009	Kristen Steele has accepted a call to Shepherd of the Valley in Langley and was ordained on May2, 2009 and installed on May 3, 2009.
March 15, 2009	Sabine Milewski has accepted a call to St. John Lutheran in Winnipeg starting March 15, 2009. Ordination March 7, 2009 at Grace Lutheran, Winnipeg. Bishop Gerhard Preibisch presiding.
February 23, 2009	Nathan Fong has accepted a call to Grace Lutheran, Burnaby starting February 23, 2009. Ordination March 15, 2009 at New Life Chinese Lutheran, Vancouver. Bishop Gerhard Preibisch presiding.
December 7, 2008	Grace Lutheran Church in Kelowna ratified the decision to sever their ties with the ELCIC.
December 1, 2008	Rev. Keith Peterson is serving at Living Faith Lutheran in Sechelt.
November 1, 2008	Basel Hakka Lutheran moved to their new location at 2575 Nanaimo Street, Vancouver.
October 5, 2008	Rev. Ken Harris is serving as interim at Benediction Lutheran in Delta.
October 1, 2008	Rev. Willy Olesen is serving as interim at Grace Lutheran in Burnaby.
October 1, 2008	Rev. Kim Staus is serving as interim at Gloria Dei Lutheran in North Vancouver.
September 28, 2008	Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran in Vancouver ratified the decision to sever their ties with the ELCIC.
September 26, 2008	Rev. Murray Halvorson was installed at Trinity Lutheran in Delta.
September 14, 2008	Rev. Gary Schenk transferred to BC Synod from SK Synod, serving as a chaplain with the Good Samaritan Society - Wexford Creek, Nanaimo.
September 14, 2008	Rev. George Pell, an Anglican priest, was installed at Trinity Church in Port Alberni.
September 1, 2008	Rev. David Lefsrud is serving as interim at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Victoria while Rev. Lyle McKenzie is on sabbatical.
July 1, 2008	Rev. Sylvia Schmidt is serving as interim at Christ Lutheran Church in Vancouver.
July 2008	Rev. Richard Stetson is serving at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in New Westminster.
May 6, 2008	Rev. Ray Niebergall was installed as full-time chaplain with the Good Samaritan Society serving Christenson Village in Gibsons and Victoria Heights in New Westminster.
May 2008	Rev. Wallace Loge is serving as interim at Our Redeemer Lutheran in Penticton.
May 2008	Rev. Cliff Reinhardt is serving as vice pastor at Dunbar Lutheran in Vancouver. Diaconal Minister, Marie Frick, is assisting.
March 2008	Rev. Katalin Janko, who came to us from Hungary, was licensed for Word and Sacrament Ministry.
March 1, 2008	Rev. Kathy Martin was installed at King of Life Lutheran in Coquitlam.
February 1, 2008	Rev. Ron Sedo was installed to serve half-time at Shepherd of the Valley in Comox.
January 12, 2008	Mount Calvary in Mission ratified the decision to sever their ties with the ELCIC.
