Rev. Dr. Imad Haddad Elected Bishop in the ELCJHL
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land (ELCJHL) released a statement announcing the election of their next Bishop. The Synod has elected the Rev. Dr. Imad Mousa Dawood Haddad as Bishop-Elect of the ELCJHL. He will succeed His Grace Bishop Sani Ibrahim Azar, who will remain in office until the installation of the Bishop-Elect on January 11, 2026. To read the full statement, please click here. 

The Rt. Rev. Shane Parker Elected 15th Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada 
The Anglican Church of Canada elected The Rt. Rev. Shane Parker as the 15th Primate of ACC during the 44th session of the General Synod. Parker served as the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa since 2020 and was installed as the Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada at the General Synod's closing worship on June 29. Read the full news here.
